JHL HEAVYWEIGHT TURNOUT RUG
Ideal for those colder winter days, the JHL heavyweight turnout rug is constructed using a 1200 Denier rip-stop polyester outer material, which is both waterproof and breathable to ensure protection and comfort. The 350g filling will keep your horse warm and cosy in the coldest of weather.
Other features include:
- Dark nylon lining
- Fully adjustable double front buckles with clips
- Low cross surcingles
- Removable and adjustable leg straps to help keep the rug in place
- 3D rings for optional neck cover (sold seperately)
- Re-inforced nylon anti-rub shoulders to prevent chafing

For a 15.3 you'd probably want a 6'0" or 6'3" - it depends on the build of the horse and the brand of the rug. JHL and Equi-theme rugs are true to size and not overly generous in the neck and chest. Masta are very generous in the neck and chest, Weatherbeeta and Mark Todd are generous around the shoulder and Mark Todd in particular are quite deep.

The JHL rugs are generally true to size, so we'd recommend going for a 6'0" if you need to go down a size from 6'3".

We usually recommend that a medium sized neck cover is used with a 6'0" rug, however this can depend on the size of the horse in question's neck.
