A friend recommends your saddle. How much does the Western Saddle weigh that would fit and adult Arabian mare?

Western saddles are measured from pommel to cantle so a 15" should be the right size for a 15hh horse. The 16" is a large size and could be too big for your horse, unless he has a long back. Cob size is for a standard horse approx. 14hh-15.1hh but this is approx. as some heavier horses this size can take full/horse size.
