The Wintec wide; a saddle designed to fit the cob or wider horse, but that's comfortable for the rider too!
The Wintec Wide features its own EASY-CHANGE Gullet System, with three ultra wide gullets, allowing you to custom fit your saddle to your horse's shape.
For the first time in a wide saddle Wintec has achieved a comfortably waisted seat. Designed to counteract the wideness of the saddle the seat enables you to relax into a comfortable and correct riding position.
Wide tree provides an optimum fit for the wider horse.
The Gullets from this saddle can not be used in any other Wintec or Bates Saddle.
- CAIR Air Panel System - replacing traditional fillings in your saddle with air. The cushioning nature of air encourages your horse to soften, relax and engage, whilst also virtually eliminating the risk of pressure points through much improved weight distribution.
- EASY-CHANGE Gullet System - Wider gullets for the wider horse.
- Narrow waisted seat design enables a more conventional seat for the rider.
- Broad chamber offers a superior fit for the wider horse.
- Adjustable Flexibloc System enables the rider to individually tailor their thigh and knee support
- Option of four girth straps. Two as normal and a front and rear point strap.

My professional saddle fitter said that wintec wide 16,5" fits for my pony, but is a bit too long. He advised me to purchase wide with flock, so he can make the saddle fit.
I´m considering 16" cair and woul like to know how long are the panels in 16" and in 16,5" saddles.

The brown is a dark shade of brown, not newmarket or tan.

These saddles are specifically designed for very wide, flat-backed horses. The saddle is in fact wider than the 'extra-wide' gullet found in other saddles, therefore we wouldn't recommend it for an Arab.
