Thu 18th August 2011: Hi I am goin to buy this saddle, but i need the wide gullet. I had a look on your site and couldn't see bates gullets to buy. Can you please advise? Also if I got this and it doesn't fit, am I able to return?

Tue 29th September 2009: Please advise, I need the Bats saddle to be as large as possible for horse and ride, he is currently using a 17" wit medium gullet which is too small for the rider, the horse is 16hh with a long back so will 18"46 be ok. Please advise as soon as possible. Thank you

I would try an 18" saddle on your horse's back to make sure he can take this length before you order the saddle. It is important when fitting a saddle to make sure it doesn't go past the line of his last rib, otherwise it may press on his kidneys.; By quesnel
