There is the Event Martingale & Breastplate which is specifically designed for eventing, or alternatively you might like to look at the Hunter Breastplate. The main difference between the two is that the Eventing Breastplate and Martingale is elasticated to allow greater freedom of movement in the shoulders.

You would want the Hunter Breastplate. It has a martingale attachment as standard but this can be removed.
i order the black and burgundy. i was expecting the elastic to be all Burgundy. which i wasnt too keen on but no one can complain at the price. but when i got it i screamed its lush!! the elastic is black with Burgundy and white line on the outside! im so pleased thank you very much looks lush on my horse too :)

The full size Elastic SJ Breastplate is designed for horses which would normally take a large or full size. It would be too large for a pony.

The brown leather has brown elastic, as in the first photo, and the black leather has black elastic, as in the second photo. They both feature white piping.

We would recommend looking for a cob sized martingale/breastplate, as large may be too big - although they are adjustable and you are welcome to return the item if it does not fit (as long as it is returned in the same condition as when you received it).

We would recommend going for the hunter breastplate as this offers the stability for the saddle needed for hunting - and also something for you to hold onto! This breastplate can be used in show jumping.

The black has stainless steel fitments. The brown has brass coloured fitments.

This item is just the breastplate, it does not come with the martingale attachments. We would recommend a cob size, however this can vary from horse to horse.
How becomes attached you it to the girth and to the saddle?

There is a loop to attach this to the girth. The top straps attach through buckles to the d-rings on the saddle.
