Ridden Training Aids
We have a selection of training aids that can be used when the horse is been ridden. The most common is martingales and breastplates, these are used as added support and martingales prevent the horse from getting its head above the point of control, breastplates help to stop the saddle from slipping back. Draw reins are an extra pair of reins the rider holds, they work by putting pressure on the mouth and the poll which will encourage the horse to work in an outline.
The De gouge works slightly different but has the same outcome, it encourages the horse to work in self carriage.
