Fri 16th December 2011: I have found that this rug has come up short on my dog who takes 14" rugs he has other Masta rugs as well as other well known brands in this size that fit him perfectly, he's a Tibetan Spaniel X Chihuahua, my recommendation is maybe on SOME breeds to possibly go up a size, other then that it's lovely and i will be getting another for him in a 16" and one for my other dog whos a chihuahua.; By Vicki

For that breed of dog we would suggest a coat between 12" to 16" (30-40cm). However we would suggest that you measure the dog in question - from the base of the neck to the base of the tail - to get an accurate measurement.; By mike dexter
