How Do I Order From The USA & Canada?

We get alot of enquiries from the USA & Canada and we'd like to assure you that it's as easy to get goods from the UK as it is from your country. In some cases we've been told quicker. Here are a few frequently asked questions and their answers.

What is your currency?
Our currency is GBP Pounds Sterling, it isn't Euros

How do I convert your currency to USD/CAD?
Currently we can't do conversions on our web site so please go to the web site www.xe.com and you will be able to do all your conversions there.

How do I pay?
Simply add items to your shopping basket and then at check out you can pay by the following cards, Visa and Master Card. If you choose the Netbanx option you can also pay by American Express and JCB.

You can also pay by PayPal www.paypal.com

You can also choose the pay by telephone option and then phone us with your card details.

We also accept bankers checks and personal checks in GBP sterling or USD's but please get in touch with us first if you wish to choose this method. Personal checks can take upto six weeks to clear and we won't send goods before the check has cleared.

We accept bank transfers at a charge of £15, you will need to contact us if you wish to pay by this method.

What do you charge for shipping?
We excellent shipping rates to the USA
At check out there is a drop down box to choose shipping rates. We have a few options for you to choose from.
£10 International Small Packet. This is for no more than 2 pairs of breeches or equivalent
£20 Small Parcel. This is for boots and smaller items or equivalent.
£40 Medium Parcel. This is for example 2 x pairs of boots, 1 x heavyweight turnout or stable rug, saddles and anything else which will fit in the box.
For larger parcels please choose the quote option and we'll get back to you with a price.

How long does it take?
Normally it takes between 5-14 working days but sometimes as little as 3 days to arrive. If there is a problem we will be in touch.

Can I return items?
Yes, you can return items from seven days from receipt at your expense. Exchanges have to be charged at our full shipping rate not the original subsidised one.

How do I contact you?

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm

Do I pay any extra on top of the invoice price?
If you have a dollar credit card, then the card company will generally charge a small fee for the currency conversion.
On larger items via carrier you may have to pay some customs, however this isn't great compared to the possible savings that you may receive in buying your goods from ourselves.

What is the size conversion?
At the moment we have very few size conversions on the web site, however this will change in time. We recommend that you go onto a search engine and put something like, "International Size Conversions" into the search box and that way you will get web sites who will give you this information.

How do I measure for horse blankets?
IN the UK we measure in feet and inches and in the US you measure in inches eg UK 6'0" = US 72" so the sizing is similar. The rugs are measured from the middle of the chest along the side of the horse opposite where the tail begins.

How do I measure for breeches?
Our jodhpurs (full length) and breeches (finish just below the knee) are measured in inches around the waist.
