FEELING WESTERN BITS
These bits are to be used for Western riding. Whilst diverse, they all have a strong leverage effect and it is therefore essential that they are used with care. Western riding is usually done with 'long reins' and slight pressure to restore balance.
QUARTER HORSE BIT - Stainless steel with a medium port mouthpiece.
CURB BIT - Stainless steel with medium port, the mouthpiece is copper.
WORKING BIT - Stainless steel medium port mouthpiece with copper roller.
OVAL CHEEK BIT - Low port copper mouthpiece (13mm) with oval engraved stainless steel cheeks.
BLACK SHOW BIT - Medium port mouthpiece. Cheeks are decorated with German silver on black stainless steel.
