Liverpool Driving Bits
£20.99
The Liverpool bits are most common in driving horses. The reins attach to the shanks on either side, resulting in a snaffle action or a curb action as required. The lower the reins the more severe the bit.
MULLEN MOUTH
The Mullen mouth has no nutcracker action when pressure is applied so the tongue will not get pinched. It also is reversible and can be used with the serrated edged or the smooth edge on the tongue depending on how severe you need the bit to be.
JOINTED MOUTH
The jointed mouth piece has sliding cheeks and a snaffle mouth piece. The sliding cheeks are not recommended when driving pairs of horses as they may cause pinching from the coupling reins.
